KEALOANA "SOMEONE ELSE" EP LISTENING PARTY

Kealoana’s long awaited EP is finally here. After the release for her soulful singles, “Mocha Loving” and heartbreaking ballad “Them Eyes”, she’s so excited to be launching her much anticipated EP “Someone Else”.

Raised in Brisbane and living in Western Sydney, Kealoana’s roots are in church music and old school R&B. Raised in a home filled with music, at the age of 15 her father introduced her into the world of corporate gigging.

Mentored through life’s personal experiences, Kealoana says she writes intuitively, drawing inspiration from anything that has a good bass and an old school R&B vibe. She started writing music for her Tafe studies in 2015, receiving encouragement and mentoring from teachers Stephen Bull & Tania Bowra.

Since pursuing her career as an independent R&B/Soul music artist, she has had the chance to share the stage with artists like Deni Hines and Casey Donavan, grabbing the attention of the Daily Telegraph the highlight of her young career was performing two of her original songs for then Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull for Project Gala in June 2017, after winning a grant from Blacktown Performing Arts. After listening to her much anticipated single 'Permission’ Basil Cook from ABC Records had this to say, "...You have to be lying to me about her age! there is some real maturity in there, and an instinctive way of delivering that feels way past “mid-20’s”!"

Two years in the making, her EP launch will feature her 7 piece band performing the songs live plus some she has already planned to record and release for the next EP! Supporting acts & DJ will be announced in the upcoming weeks but it’s going to be a show worth listening to if you vibe anything with a jazzy/R&B feel.

The event will take place at Blacktown Performing Arts.

Doors will open 6:30pm, with a $20 ticket fee at the door (cash only) or online.
